<p><p>It does affect students on deferred loans as well, because we owe thousands upon thousands of dollars, fifty thousand or so, and the discount was one of the only ways that the unemployed could get this loan down, as it reduced the principal amount. What happens if graduates never get a job which pays above the minimum HECS HELP repayment threshold?
