Hi Scott,

I followed your path intuitively and still do.

As a happy owner of more-than-decade home I cannot agree more with everything you said. Some guardian angel saved me from major mistakes.

It's also interesting to know that the market and problems in Au and in Europe are very similar.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

I am currently reading your book and have just got to this section, I would like to know why we shouldn't have our parents go guarantor for us? I have been told that we won't need to pay LMI if we use our parents?

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

Hi Scott

Regarding "Mistake 4: They rent but forget to save" - if someone decides to rent instead of paying off a mortgage, how much extra do they need to save to ensure they're no worse off down the track? Instead of 20% going into Fire Extinguisher for investing should it be 25%? 30%? And therefore should our Daily Expenses be reduced from 60% to 55 or 50%?

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

Three years later none of this advice is solid. Houses prices currently rise.more than $1200 a day! I am writing this at at the end.of 2021. Labour just folded on scrapping negative gearing. All the advice is now "use your parents property as a garuntee"

Game over.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.
