<p><p>I'll preface this with "I was brought up a Catholic" and was an altar boy, but the hypocrisy of the church, with it's billions of dollars in real estate, gold (some of which was N4zi gold that was stored in Fatima, a holy shrine of all places) lead me to become lapsed, especially given the recent abuse scandals and the way that it has tried to protect itself, I've lost faith in it.</p>
