I don't understand how with mortgage rates heading towards 3% that investors can achieve these rates without a great deal of risk. The loans must be to less creditworthy clients.

George. Home loan rates are heading to 3%. But Ratesetter, TruePillars, Wisr and others are not lending for home loans. Most are consumer loans (eg a car or holiday or personal loan, etc) which attract a higher interest rate (banks also charge a higher interest rate for these loans). True Pillars lends to small businesses.
