I am elderly, had a disabled husband from the age of 47. [He 50] Disability pens etc.No super.Somehow, I managed to get us off pensions [Neither of us in employment since 1983], not sure how!! I do my own trading.

I have 21 good spread equities. My portfolio market value has dropped 30% in past couple weeks.Admittedly we were overinflated. Husband died in 2011. I am just sitting watching! I did buy Tassell, few weeks ago. People have to eat! Did sell Boss. Made a profit. Have about 4 'dogs'. GEM and PGC included.I feel I just sit. Is this OK. Also some medical newcomers, MSB, PCK , CYP,BUB, CLV. Again...Just bide my time. Apprciate you comments. Have the 'big guns'.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

Decided to rebalance my industry superfund pension account from balanced to capital stable well before close of business on 16/03. Adviser sent paperwork which I duly signed and returned by Email within half an hour of receiving it. Contacted today by adviser, paperwork apparently not acceptable so he sent paperwork again via the website communication this time. Same paperwork for signature but since I last authorized (in good faith that procedure was OK) my fund is down $14,000. I plan to complain to the financial services ombudsman since the lack of action on the funds transfer was not my fault. Am I justified?

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.
