Hi Michelle,

Great article. When does the notice pay start in situations you are notified of the position being made redundant at a future date. e.g. on 15 June employer confirms in writing that redundancy is effective 30 June. The notice period is 4 weeks. Employee works during the period 15 June to 30 June. In redundancy calculations will the 4 week period be counted from 1 July 20 or 15 June 20?

Hi Michell, I am one of 2 admin staff with 2 different contracts (roles). If the client decides to let one of us go, does that mean my company makes me redundant? If my employer has another position I could fill, will I still be made redundant from my current position before resuming work under a new position/contract?
