We had a SMSF and closed it and transferred our Super to a pension fund. The cost of closing the super fund was huge.

The fees I pay to the Pension fund and a Financial Adviser is more than the fees charged for my SMSF

I was told by the Financial Adviser that it was going to much cheaper for the pension fund. This was not the case.
