A small point. The father may have simply not had the money. He likely left the family home, was paying maintenance, rent and private school fees ,so not have been possible after separation. I do t think we can say he was not prioritising his kids wealfare in this instance.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

His legal bills reached $140,000. If he could run it that high, he could have instead kept Co-supporting in the kids education.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

Charlie's maintenance payments would cover the private school fees. Maybe Sarah needs to budget better?

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

Really?? Do you know how much he pays in child support or how much the private fees are to make such a stupid comment? No.

Under the child support system, if both parents agreed to send the kids to private school and he signed the form, she can apply for an amendment to include a percentage of the fees. The paying parent often tries this trick but the system is aware of it. My own ex tried to do this but was made to pay half via the child support system since he signed the enrolment forms. Men who deliverately do this to their kids are a$$holes.

If he can pay $140k in legal fees he can damn well support his kids! I can see why she left him.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.
