I have 6,000 shares in BHP but I can not materially find out how the arrangement with Woodside will affect me, especially as I am looking at moving some of my capital in undeforming stock to BHP

So how many shares am I likely to get in Woodside and at what date will the share allotment per investor be determined.

Some explanatory articles would be good like how does a share buy back affect existing shareholders. Is it detrimental or not for existing shareholders. Sort of have little teaching corners every month.
