I made my 1st banking transfer mistake ever... and hopefully never again! I rang my bank within minutes of the mistake in July2021, it's now Jan2022 and nothing has been recovered, nor do they care. My money accidentally went to a well known business, so I know it can be recovered! I followed up mine & receiver bank but neither could help further:-(

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

Only fools use electronic banking routinely.

Some transactions have to be electronic but they must be treated as unusual and multiple checks of accuracy made.

If you routinely throw your money into the internet chaos of errors, hacking and scams, you will regret it.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

We're have just had this happen to us $943 was deposited into our Commonwealth bank account 3 weeks ago

We went to our back and they said because there was no reference they could not trace it,so we then went to thr Anz

to the ANZ bank and they told us the same thing They said just wait and maybe we might receive a letter asking for the money to be paid back Hard to believe banks have no tracing systems

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

They only return it to you if its a personal account. The Banks will try and make it as hard as possible to get it back if its from a company account.

It'll cost several thousands of dollars

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.
