As usual the struggling pensioners seem to be forgotten by both parties/Some miserable $250 one off payment by the Morrison Government and seemingly nothing from the Opposition(Labor)/ It is high time that all politicians realise that the taxes paid by the pensioners helped them to get an education to enable them to attain their present status in society/Do the politicians ever visit a supermarket/greengrocer to see with their very own eyes how high prices have affected the standard of living(subsisting) for pensioners/Because of long waiting lists at hospitals for a variety of treatments most pensioners are FORCED to take out Private Medical Cover and this further erodes their standard of living by paying premiums from $4000 to $5000 per year/In my final analysis I condemn both parties for flitting over the plight of pensioners and failing to address a very serious problem in AUSTRALIAN SOCIETY

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

24/7 full time nursing staff care sounds great BUT where's the money coming from ? Do we bring in heaps more care professionals from the Philippines, from Thailand, where ? Will they be paid the same as Australians in similar work ? Young people don't want to work with 'oldies' and our care staffers, after covid are burned out and tired, tired, tired. Good idea Albo, but again, where's the money coming from ? ( your partner Greens don't want increased immigration or selling coal, so again, where's the money coming from ?)

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

Am I reading this right? Why would a family with one child and an income of $530,000 need childcare subsidy? I hope this is a misprint!

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

Increased wages is great for aged care workers, though one thing everyone is missing is the fact that a lot of people do not want to work in the sector. Aged care is already struggling to get Registered Nursing staff as are the hospitals in regional areas.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.
