<p><p>Once I was at an independent supermarket and they put a discount price on a frozen item but did not change the computer I got the item free. Went back a few hours later. still had not changed the computer got the item free. and went back at 6.00pm got the item free again. I think the supermarket was just trying to move stock and not offering a discount. <p><p>Another time I saw a mismatch between the unit price and the shelf price. The unit price was 10 cents per litre but shelf price was $1.00 for 1 Litre long life milk. When I showed the manager he said that was the unit price for 1 litre and I said I am buying 1 litre. Got the item for free. It took safeway over 1 week to change the docket at all safeway stores.
