You can't escape strings. Bankwest charges $10 to close account. UBank requires $200 deposit per month for the high interest rate. There's always a string.

What about Rabo? Best interest and Aussie people that are more helpful than any other bank and they answer the phone very quickly!

Reason they limit this at 35 years old? If you're over 35 you might actually have money to put in it.

16 -35s is a potential market and many are high income earners but all the expansion of banks is in the West.

In the East where I reside, they have closed NAB, ANZ, Westpac and St George in Rose Bay and Double Bay and moved them to the Regional Centre, Bondi Junction.

And it is the elderly demographic who are cashed up and looking for where to deposit their money.
