My wife has just become Disabled she is on a disability pension and I'm on a carers pension.

She is 10 years younger than me, is it worth accessing my super and putting a $130,000 in hers. I am 65 years old. She has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and may have 3 to 10 years left.

She doesn't want to access her super cause she's the saver in the relationship.

Our Assets are well under the threshold with Centrelink and we own our own home.

I want to utilise the maximum we can get from Centrelink. We have worked hard and paid more than our share of taxes.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.
