Lockup might mean a change of plans for the home. If frame only all you need is walls (outside), doors and windows with a roof. I would go steelbond painted panels for walls outside and roof. Windows & doors to lockup. You can then, over time, room by room, fit each out with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom being the most pressing. Don't let aesthetics rule you, look for value! A Ikea kitchen flatpack can be assemebled over a weekend between mates, interior power and water will need a professional but SOLAR on the roof when its on is smart, just install a HYBRID inverter and 3-5kw of LiIon eBay batts (a big part of this will be rebated so out of pocket 6kw maybe 3k plus batts from eBay) ~ during the day energies free, at night batts kick in and then the grid. You will have rent money now back being invested in the property which is smart.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.
