Clothes drying - we have a solar clothes dryer (old fashion one) and for back-up when it is raining a small clothes line under the pergola roof. We do own an electric clothes dryer which is located in the shed and it is used sparingly. The further electric dryers are positioned from the washing machine the more economical they are (lazy people have a habit of transferring washed clothes straight from the mashing machine into the dryer). I recommend against having the dryer in the laundry as the heat source can also be a fire hazard.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.
