With the story of the woe in age care about RAD's and DAP's. Is there also an article or information about the best and most cost effective way that the age care system can be supported and used by an elderly person on a part or full pension living in there own low value home ( relocatable). Eg Can an age care package look after the elderly person well enough in their own home but have them in and out of hospital throughout their remaining years.

I was "horrified" by your article Mr Rodney Horin. The underlying theme is to destroy and decimate assets. You are kidding - there are other solutions! Maybe you could consider going back to law as your article is all "problems" for a family and no "solutions" - Typical of the advice being given to our elderly out there.
