I often wonder how they reach these figures for super? I am in my early 50's and have worked full time for 33 years and have approx $700 000 in super without putting in any extra contributions and earning less than $100000 per year. My husband is nearly 60 and has worked full time for 40 years and has nearly double the super I have but he has always paid extra contributions. Fortunate to be in this position and are looking at retiring soon.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.
