have been in this arrangement for a few years now, best advice is to ring FISO from the Dept of Human Services, the only tax I pay is on my Jobseeker, in which I get back each year, my super payment is tax free, discounted rates, rego, water and energy bills. Dont keep too many assets though that can be tracked by the ATO.

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.

Hi
My job has changed due to new management. I have health issues and struggle to keep up now. Would like to retire at 62 and pay off mortgage which will clear that debt and stop Interest. Intend on returning to work part-time only. Can I also receive a jobseeker allowance after I pay off my mortgage? I only have basic bills. Rates, petrol, electricity, gas food & petrol. Thanks Michelle

Reply to article

For original story, Click Here.
