Had a bad experience using a buyers agent to buy a house in a different state. She hardly showed me any properties, and none were within the parameters I had set. When I found a house and purchased it, she still charged the full commission, although the wording of her contract said that shouldn't apply. We came to sort of an agreement, but it left me never wishing to deal with one again.
