<p><p>We already have indexation on the general Transfer Balance Cap with the current limit of $1.9m moving up to $2m from 1 July 2025. It seems like a far more streamlined approach to align the 15% tax increase to this number. Heck, even add another 15% tax for those who have more than double the TBC to discourage massive balances and - here&#39;s the really bold bit - all proceeds from that final bit must only go to paying down Australia&#39;s debt.
