<p><p>renting out a spare room? Remember, you will have to pay LAND TAX, which has jumped nearly 43% in the past few years. It is yet another disincentive to help the housing crisis. Oh and you have to change your insurance to be SPLIT up into one for the landlord part and one for the owner occupier. GOOD LUCK finding a provider who will even allow that !!! And if your tenant wrecks YOUR part of the house? Good luck making a claim.
