The so called "free advice" is a myth! All the fund advisors do is collect info, and then brainwash into getting a financial advisor to give you more info, even though your questions are generic-for example

I asked that I was in a 3 year arrangement adding extar in my supper post tax when the limit was 110K/yr. While I in that period, rules changed last year increasing the limits. My simplest of question was will I get extra limit given that I was already in the 3 year period?

Not once I wanted to know if I should or what my situation is or if I cn afford etc etc. With a simple look into my account, all I needed to be told XX$ is your remaining limit by end of XX financial year-but I was told they couldnt go into my account to give me that advice??

And this industry super fund Australian Super to be precise!

So anyone thinks they will even get any simple questions answered-forget it
