Purchase rates that have dipped below 10% deliver even better value
It's been a busy year for low-rate cards.
There are now 14 of them with ongoing purchase interest rates below 10%pa, says InfoChoice's Jason Bryce.
"The G&C Mutual Low Rate Visa card has no hidden fees to bite you," he says.
It has a low minimum credit limit of $1000, a low annual fee, no overseas ATM withdrawal fee (but the ATM could charge a fee), a cash advance rate of 15.49%pa and up to 50 days interest free.
The Bankwest Breeze Mastercard has a purchase rate of 9.9%pa and a zero-interest balance transfer deal for the first six months, plus up to 55 days interest free.
