Bombshell stars Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie, and hits cinemas on January 16.

Based on the real scandal, Bombshell is a revealing look inside the most powerful and controversial media empire of all time; and the explosive story of the women who brought down the infamous man who created it.

Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman stars as former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson who sued the network's former chairman, Roger Ailes, played by John Lithgow, for sexual harassment.

Her lawsuit and the publicity it received prompted another other Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, played by Academy Award winner Charlize Theron, and fictional news producer Kayla Pospisil, a composite character played by Margot Robbie, to voice their own allegations against Ailes.

Written by Charles Randolph and directed by Jay Roach, Bombshell is in cinemas from January 16.

It also stars Emmy Award winner Kate McKinnon, Academy Award winner Allison Janney, Emmy Award winner Mark Duplass, Connie Britton, Rob Delaney, and Malcolm McDowell.
